PEORIA, Ill. -- Sophomore guard Anneke Schlueter (Ulm, Germany/Max-Weber-Schule) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after averaging 9.5 points per game in a pair of road contests last week.
Schlueter opened the week with seven points, one rebound, one block and one steal Friday at Southern Illinois. In Sunday’s game at Evansville, she had a team-high 12 points and also grabbed two boards. Schlueter hit all three of Bradley’s three-point baskets in the two games to extend her streak of consecutive games with a three-pointer to 14. Her streak of consecutive games with a three-pointer is the seventh longest in school history.
