PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University women's basketball athlete Amy O'Hara has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. O'Hara was honored after grabbing a Bradley season-best-tying 13 rebounds and recording a team season-high six blocks against Southern Illinois on March 6.
The junior from Melbourne, Australia, tallied a career-best 13 rebounds for her second game with 10+ rebounds on the season against Southern Illinois on March 6. O'Hara also recorded a career-high six blocks in Bradley's victory against the Salukis. O'Hara followed up her strong rim protection against SIU with a seven-point, seven-rebound game against Missouri State on March 8.
