AUSTIN, TX – Runner McKenzie Altmayer (Geneva, IL/Geneva HS) has become the 11th student-athlete in Bradley history to repeat as a CoSIDA Academic All-American, according to the release of the 2021-22 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America® Teams released by the College Sports Information Directors of America Tuesday morning.
The first Women's Track & Field/Cross Country student-athlete to earn repeat Academic All-America® honors in Bradley history, Altmayer earned second-team recognition for the 2021-22 school year after earning third-team status in 2020-21. For the second consecutive year, Altmayer joins Volleyball star Hannah Thompson as an Academic All-America® selection, giving Bradley multiple CoSIDA Academic All-America® honorees for the eighth consecutive year.
