PEORIA, Ill. – Men's golfer Alex Ciaramitaro (St. Peter's Mo./St. Louis University H.S.) has been named this week's Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after tying for 10th at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship earlier this week.
Ciaramitaro picked up his team-best third top-10 finish of the year, earning a share of 10th at the 2020-21 MVC Championship which was held at the par-72 Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, Ill., Monday and Tuesday. He opened play with a two-over 74 and fired matching 77's in the final two rounds to finish at 12-over 228 as he finished just four shots out of the top five in the standings.
