PEORIA – The scoreboard Wednesday night said Bradley beat Valparaiso 67-42. The Missouri Valley Conference standings said the Braves were tied with three other teams for fourth place at 9-8 heading into the regular-season finale.
Winners of six of their last seven, the Braves can finish as high as fourth or as low as seventh once Saturday’s matchups are completed.
All of that was most encouraging to BU fans considering the team began the MVC season 0-5.
But the moments that brought the greatest joy to the 5,867 at Carver on Wednesday were the times when Peter Hanley was on the court.
