BATON ROUGE, LA – A trio of Bradley freshmen paced the Braves (3-5) statistically, but #22 LSU (9-1) jumped out to a 13-0 lead to start the game and never looked back en route to a 77-51 win in a short-notice game in front of 5,624 fans Saturday afternoon at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Guard Caroline Waite returned to action for the first time in three weeks and drained 4-of-9 3-point attempts on the way to a team-high 14 points. Freshman center Callie Waite pulled down a team-best 10 rebounds and freshman guard Nika Dorsey contributed seven points, five rebounds and a team-high five assists for the Braves, who outscored the host Tigers, 35-30, in the second half.
