Aaron Jordan and D.J. Williams have been connected for more than a year-and-a-half.
The two in-state products both committed to Illinois within a two-month span of one another, and were the first two recruits in John Groce's Class of 2015.
The sweet-shooting Jordan from Plainfield East and the versatile Williams from Chicago Simeon will play on Saturday night at Pontiac High School.
On opposite teams.
Both were selected to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-Star game, which will feature the best the state has to offer.
Williams will play on the 3A/4A North team, while Jordan suits up for the 3A/4A South team as the 3A/4A All-Star game is slated for a 7 p.
