Beat writer Scott Richey breaks down Illinois and Nebraska:
Offense
Illinois found the balance offensive coordinator Rod Smith was searching for when it put up 646 yards of total offense in beating Minnesota. Yes, that was still buoyed by 430 rushing yards, but fifth-year quarterback AJ Bush Jr. showed consistency passing for the second straight game. Freeing up running back Reggie Corbin will continue to be top priority for the Illini. Odds are, though, the Cornhuskers know that. Nebraska has a top-20 offense of its own. Moving the ball has not been an issue this season behind quarterback Adrian Martinez (2,402 total yards and 18 touchdowns) and running back Devine Ozigbo (796 rushing yards and nine touchdowns)
Advantage: Push
Defense
Let's face it.
