CHEKHOV, Russia — Chatrice White snared the offensive rebound off a miss by Kristine Anigwe and got the putback to fall — all just after the buzzer sounded to end the first quarter of Friday’s FIBA U19 Women’s World Championship quarterfinal against Canada. It was about the only thing that didn’t go Team USA’s way. The Illinois sophomore and her U.S. teammates led 28-5 after one quarter and rolled past Canada 93-45 for a spot in Saturday’s 12:15 p.m. (CDT) semifinal against Spain. White played just shy of 11 minutes off the bench and finished with two points, six rebounds, a block and a steal.
