UPDATE:
Xavier Sneed, an Illinois recruiting target in the Class of 2016, committed to Kansas State on Monday, picking the Wildcats over the Illini and Xavier.
Sneed is a three-star prospect from Hazelwood Central in the St. Louis area. The 6-foot-5 small forward is ranked among the Top 100 players in the country and also had offers from Creighton, Wichita State, Missouri, Cincinnati and Minnesota.
Sneed made an official visit to the Illinois campus late last month. He also made a visit to Kansas State earlier in the month and spent this past weekend at Xavier.
