CHAMPAIGN — Illinois soccer coach Janet Rayfield rounded out her coaching staff Friday with the announcement that former Missouri State standout Allie Osmundson would join the Illini as a volunteer assistant this fall.
“To bring someone into our program, we want to make sure it’s a good fit,” Rayfield said in a release. “I think instantly we felt like Allie was a great fit. She was a leader on her team as a collegiate athlete. She was a center back, and I think people in those positions see the game, understand the game and read the game very well.
