CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois women’s basketball team turned a dominant first half into a 95-36 rout of the University of Indianapolis on Saturday in an exhibition game at Parkland College. Sophomore center Chatrice White led the Illini with a game-high 26 points and was one of five players in double figures.
Freshmen CeCe Rice (14 points) and Jaelyne Kirkpatrick (13 points) were joined in double figures by Sarah Hartwell (11) and Kennedy Cattenhead (10).
“I thought we shared the basketball really well,” Illinois coach Matt Bollant said. “We had everyone score, everyone record an assist and everyone got a rebound.
