ATLANTA, Ga. — Illinois men’s golf led four of five semifinal matches Monday against Southern California at the conclusion of play in the East Lake Cup. The event, which saw its first day plagued by a weather delay, was suspended due to darkness at East Lake Golf Club.
Illini Nick Hardy, Alex Burge, Charlie Danielson and Thomas Detry were all 1-up on their respective Trojans opponents while Dylan Meyer and USC’s Jonah Texiera were even.
Play will resume today at 6:30 a.m., and the event will be televised on the Golf Channel beginning at 1 p.
