CHAMPAIGN — The end of July and first week of August marked the start of Class of 2017 recruits narrowing down their list of suitors, whether it be a top four or top 11.
Illinois made the finalist lists of several recruits, including Milwaukee (Wis.) Riverside wing Terrence Lewis, and the 6-foot-6, four-star prospect is set to announce his commitment at 5 p.m. today.
Lewis, who made an unofficial visit to Iowa State this past weekend, will decide between the Cyclones, Illini, hometown Marquette and UNLV. He is ranked as high as No. 65 in the Class of 2017 by ESPN, is just outside the top 100 in rankings by Rivals and 247Sports and is unranked by Scout.
