CHAMPAIGN — The University of Illinois has hired a search firm to help with its athletic director search, the UI announced in a news release.
The firm, Korn Ferry, is the world's largest executive search firm, and has helped higher athletic administrators and head coaches at Michigan, Oregon, Texas and Virginia.
"My hope all along was to identify a firm that had the experience and network to add value to our efforts," said interim Chancellor Barbara Wilson in the release. "Korn Ferry will play a crucial role in conducting an effective, comprehensive and confidential process of interacting with top-quality candidates for this vital and sought-after campus role.
