Tyler Underwood is going to return for Brad Underwood’s fourth season in Champaign.
The coach’s son reportedly received a sixth year of eligibility. The news was first reported by the News-Gazette’s Scott Richey, and confirmed by Underwood on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Underwood started his college career with his dad at Stephen F. Austin during the 2015-16 campaign. He redshirted that year, but played the following season at Oklahoma State under Brad. The season after was another redshirt campaign as he transferred to Illinois to play for his dad. Now he’s getting a fourth season to hoop.
