Looking back at 2017: Ream's switch to wide receiver got him on the field more last season after appearing in just five games in 2016 as a tight end. Reams played in 11 games in 2017 and made three starts while setting career highs in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.
Most of his production came on one play — a 14-yard touchdown catch against Indiana.
Looking ahead to 2018: Illinois can use all the skill-position players it can find.
