No. 37: Adam Solomon, OL
Why he's important: Illinois returns just nine offensive linemen from last season and adds just two freshmen — Larry Boyd and Vederian Lowe — for the 2017 campaign. Any offensive linemen on the Illini roster is an important offensive linemen. Solomon, who redshirted as a freshman in 2015 and played primarily on special teams in eight games last season, might not start right away — but he'll certainly be in the mix for playing time on the Illini line. And if a starting nod doesn't come in 2017, the Indianapolis native is a likely starter for his final two seasons.
