Looking back at 2017: Milan maintained his presence in the middle of the Illinois defense last season, playing in 10 games and making six starts at defensive tackle. He missed the final two games of the season with an injury, leaving him with comparable statistics from his 2016 campaign. Milan finished last season with 23 tackles, three quarterback hurries and two fumble recoveries (tying him with James Crawford for the team lead). His highlight moment came in the season opener when he blocked a Ball State field goal to preserve the Illini's 24-21 victory.
