Former University of Illinois athletic director Mike Thomas will be at the Illini men's basketball game on Wednesday night against Notre Dame.
A UI athletics spokesman confirmed to WDWS that Thomas will be there for the reopening of State Farm Center and the dedication of Lou Henson Court during Wednesday night's game. It's unknown whether Thomas will make a public appearance.
Thomas was heavily involved in the planning of the renovation of State Farm Center and in the decision to name the floor after Henson during his four-plus years as athletic director. He was fired less than a month ago on Nov.
