EVANSTON — The look an Ayo Dosunmu's face said more than any of the words he uttered after Sunday's 68-66 loss at Northwestern.
Hurt. Anger. Losing stung.
That it was Illinois' 11th loss in 15 games certainly had an effect on Dosunmu's mood. That it was another game where the Illini were in position to win in the second half and couldn't just made it more frustrating. Ten times in those 11 losses Illinois has either led, been tied or trailed by two with the ball during the second half.
"I feel like we're right there, a couple plays away — one rebound away — from getting a win," said Dosunmu, who again led the Illini with 18 points.
