RANTOUL — The temptation is there for Wes Lunt.
The Illinois quarterback might see Geronimo Allison streaking down the sideline, gliding the way only the 6-foot-4, 200-pound wideout can. Or working his way across the middle.
Lunt might want to force a pass into arguably the most productive — and healthiest — wide receiver Illinois has at the moment.
“What’s the saying? You don’t go broke taking a profit,” Lunt said. “We always go there if we can, but we’ve got to have multiple guys. That’s just how the offense works.”
Enter Dionte Taylor. The junior wasn’t expected to factor too prominently into the offense once the 2014 season finished.
