CHAMPAIGN — Allison Stucky scored on an assist from Jannelle Flaws in the first half, leading Illinois to a 1-1 tie against Ohio State on Friday night in a Big Ten soccer match.
The Buckeyes (6-3-3, 1-2-2) answered in the first half, and there was no scoring in the second half or in the two overtime periods.
The Illini (8-2-2, 2-1-2) outshot Ohio State 22-14.
“It was another hard-fought Big Ten battle,” Illini coach Janet Rayfield said in a news release. “We’ve worked all season to get 10 shots on frame, and we got that (Friday night).
