Corbin Sebens will continue in his role as the Parkland golf coach, the school announced on Tuesday morning.
The former Monticello standout was named interim coach this past November after former coach Zach McNabney resigned due to health reasons.
McNabney died in January after battling colon cancer for more than three years.
Sebens coached the Cobras this past spring, guiding Parkland to a runner-up finish at the Region 24 tournament along with a title at Illinois College's Blue Boy Invite.
"I am very happy that Corbin will return as our head coach," Parkland athletic director Rod Lovett said.
