CHAMPAIGN — As he prepared to begin Friday’s practice without star center Tori McCoy, who was away on her final college visit at South Carolina, St. Thomas More girls’ basketball coach Jay Price said he didn’t know where McCoy would sign.
And he doesn’t really care to know.
“I’ve never actually asked her,” Price said, “because honestly, I don’t want to know. I have an idea, but I’m not sure.’”
Heading into her senior year after tearing her ACL as a junior, McCoy is ranked No. 8 in the Class of 2016 by ProspectsNation.com. She’s considering Baylor, South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio State, Marquette and Illinois and will make her college decision Monday at 3:30 p.
