SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Former Illini guard Rayvonte Rice will participate in a pre-draft workout with the NBA’s Utah Jazz beginning today, according to a post from the organization’s Twitter account Tuesday.
The tweet read: “Draft Season is Upon Us! Pre-draft workouts begin tomorrow with six prospects working out for the Jazz.” It also contained a picture of each prospect, including Rice.
The Centennial product paced the Illini last season with 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while earning All-Big Ten honorable mention status.
Among the other five prospects working out with the Jazz is former Penn State guard D.
