Current Illinois offensive analyst Bob McClain is being promoted to the full-time staff as offensive line coach, according to Footballscoop.com.
McClain will replace Luke Butkus, who left for a job with the Green Bay Packers.
McClain joined the staff in 2018. He worked with Illinois offensive coordinator Rod Smith at both Michigan and West Virginia.
Previous stops for McClain include Lenoir-Rhyne, California (Pa.) and Appalachian State.
