CHAMPAIGN — Reggie Corbin made his way off Zuppke Field at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday morning at the end of Illinois' practice with a note for the Illini media getting ready to interview Ra'Von Bonner. Ask the sophomore running back about "the move."
"The move" referred to Bonner's 18-yard touchdown run Saturday at Wisconsin that pulled the Illini within 11 points during the third quarter before the then-No. 23 Badgers pulled away for their 49-20 win. Bonner took the handoff from quarterback M.J. Rivers II, bounced outside left tackle Vederian Lowe and put a move on a Badgers' defensive back that sent the would-be tackler sprawling uselessly on the ground and would have made the shifty Corbin proud.
