AUGUSTA, Ga. — Bryan Baumgarten and Dylan Meyer were back at it again.
And the Illinois men's golf team benefited.
Baumgarten carded a season-low round — a 6-under-par 66 — in Sunday's finale, Dylan Meyer registered three straight rounds in the 60's and the Illini won their second consecutive tournament.
Illinois finished at 25-under par overall to claim the title at the 3M Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club, outdistancing second-place finishers Houston and Wake Forest by 15 strokes.
Meyer collected his second individual tournament title with rounds of 67-69-69 to finish at 11-under and one shot ahead of Tennessee's Lorenzo Scalise.
