CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois women's basketball program received its fourth commitment in the Class of 2016 when Memphis point guard Brandi Beasley gave her verbal to coach Matt Bollant during a visit Saturday.
Beasley, a 5-foot-7 guard out of Ridgeway High School, joins forwards Ali Andrews (Huntley) and Sarah Overcash (Washington, D.C.) and guard Courtney Joens (Iowa City, Iowa) in the Class of 2016.
