McFadden wins again at Boston

Tatyana McFadden cemented her status among the best wheelchair marathon racers in the world again on Monday morning.

The 2014 University of Illinois graduate won her fourth consecutive Boston Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course from Hopkinton to Copley Square in an official time of 1 hour, 42 minutes, 16 seconds.

That is 8:10 behind the record pace because of a headwind.

Monday's victory is the latest in a series of high-profile marathon wins for McFadden, who will compete at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

McFadden has won five straight Chicago Marathons, along with three straight London Marathon titles and three consecutive New York City Marathon titles.
