After cementing himself in Illinois basketball lore as the program’s third all-time leading scorer, Malcolm Hill is taking his game to the professional ranks.
Following Thursday night’s NBA draft, the former Fighting Illini wing signed a free agent deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder to play in the 2017 NBA Summer League.

The Thunder hosted several workouts with Hill ahead of the draft, so this deal doesn’t exactly come as a huge surprise.
