Wes Lunt feels the same way. Two days after his worst outing of the season — 15 of 32 for 140 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in a 48-14 loss at North Carolina — Lunt said Monday he needs to play better moving forward.
A loss to Middle Tennessee — who is 2-6 all-time against Big Ten foes — doesn’t mean the 2015 season is a loss for Illinois. But taking a 3-1 record into Big Ten play presents a less precarious path towards bowl eligibility than a 2-2 mark.
