Bill Cubit's weekly news conference drew a bigge-than-usual crowd Monday afternoon. Maybe because Nebraska's coming to town.
The turnout includes beat writer Matt Daniels, who reports:
— Nebraska is scoring a lot of points. But, Cubit said, "I think we're playing better defense going into Big Ten play than previous couple years."
— All is calm even with BIg Red on the way. "Sometimes we spend too much emotion early in week and we can't keep that up rest of the week," Cubit said.
— Big ups for Ke'Shawn Vaughn for his hard running Saturday.
