LIVE! Anderson battling Federer

Kevin Anderson has accomplished a feat Wednesday morning no other tennis player has done against Roger Federer this year at Wimbledon.

He won a set against the top-ranked player. And then he did again.

The former Illini is locked in a quarterfinal tussle at Wimbledon with Federer as Anderson has forced a decisive fifth set against the eight-time Wimbledon champion.

Federer won the first two sets, 6-2, 7-6 (5) before Anderson rallied to win the next two sets, 7-5, 6-4, becoming the first player at Wimbledon this year to take a set from Federer.

Anderson staved off Federer's first attempt at match point, trailing 5-4 in the third set, before winning the game to tie the set at 5-5 and ultimately winning the next game to take a 6-5 lead.
