URBANA — The doctor is in. Or will be eventually.
That's the plan for Illinois tight end Austin Roberts.
He has been thinking about it since kindergarten. Really.
He was assigned a class project: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Easy answer.
"You make a big picture and you draw out your dream job," Roberts said. "I said, 'I want to be a brain surgeon.'"
So, he sat down at the kitchen table with his dad, James, and they drew a picture of Roberts "cutting a head open."
"I've never questioned it.
