DES MOINES, Iowa —Former Illinois hurdler David Kendziera just keeps going on the national stage. And he's not done yet, either.
Kendziera finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles finals Saturday at the 2018 U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 49.22 seconds — nearly a second faster than his opening-round clocking.
Before his 400 hurdles finals, Kendizera also claimed one of four automatic qualifying spots in the 110 high hurdles semfinals at 2:30 p.m. today with a time of 13.81.
