Last Thursday University of Illinois acting chancellor Barbara Wilson introduced former Illini football star Josh Whitman as the 14th permanent athletic director of the University of Illinois, making $600,000 annually.
Whitman, obviously, has a big job to do, and it may not be as easy as he thinks.
