For the fifth time in the last five years, the Illini have won the Big Ten Championship. This is an impressive feat that programs can only dream of. Despite losing two big members of this program heading into this season, Dylan Meyer and Nick Hardy, the Illini have found the right combination of players to continue their dynastic success.
Illinois won the Big Ten Championship with a +28 total score. Purdue finished in second place at +33 and Michigan State was in third at +43. This wasn’t an easy accomplishment, though. Heading into the final round, the Illini were tied in the lead at +30 with Minnesota.
