Roundtree was in a swimming accident over the summer that left him with a severe spinal cord injury. This was a shock to all of Illini Nation when the news broke about the situation Roundtree and his family were in. He went through surgery right after the injury and is now in the process of moving into an out-patient rehabilitation facility.
The fight isn’t even close to being over, though. Roundtree still has a ways to go which includes a myriad of rehabilitation, diet and other things to get him right again. This isn’t a battle he is fighting alone.
