It was announced today that former Illinois head coach Tim Beckman has accepted a voluntary role with the North Carolina football team.
Beckman was hired by the Illini back in 2011.
Mike Thomas was just introduced as the new athletic director and he wanted to put his stamp on the revenue generating programs.
To put it mildly, almost every move during Thomas’ short tenure was terrible.
