Illinois Football: Moses Okpala helps Illini build class of 2019

Moses Okpala decided to announce his decision last night at his high school football game. He ended up picking Illinois over Missouri and Nebraska. This was a huge get for the Illini and one that will impact the defense for years to come.

Okpala is a 6-foot-7, 250-pound strong-side defensive end from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 507 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 36 strong-side defensive end in the nation. He is also the No. 11 player in the state of Missouri as well.
