Khalan Tolson took to Twitter to announce he has committed to play football for Lovie Smith and the Illini. This was a big pickup for Illinois. He is a 6-foot, 200-pound outside linebacker out of Admiral Farragut Academy in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He is also rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 817 player according to 247Sports and the No. 819 player according to Scout in the class of 2018. He is also the No. 58 outside linebacker in the nation.
Tolson makes for the 10th commitment for Lovie in 2018. He is also the first linebacker in the class and the third top 1000 commitment as well.
