Throughout the 2018 campaign, there were times I wished the Illini had some more options at wide receiver. We didn’t have the depth on the team to really compete at a high level. During spring ball, the feeling was the same. We had Ricky Smalling, but there were so many question marks as to who the starters were going to be.
Illinois has had some great additions, though. The new additions to the team who should be able to help immediately are via the transfer route. The Illini were able to snag both Josh Imatorbhebhe and Trevon Sidney in the transfer market.
