Recruiting the west coast has become a priority for this Illini coaching staff. They have been able to convince a few players to come play for the Orange and Blue. Illinois continues to give out scholarships to players who can come in and play right away as well. One of the more recent offers was to Darion Green-Warren.
Green-Warren is a 6-foot, 187-pound cornerback from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 149 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 10 cornerback in the nation.
