Superstar recruit Marquez Beason decided to cut his list down and he kept the Illini. He now only has six teams alive for his commitment which includes Texas, Arkansas, Washington, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Illinois. This is a great list for a great player.
Beason is a four-star athlete from Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas, Texas. He is ranked as the No. 106 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 6 athlete in the nation. Getting a player like Beason would help take the Illini from a good team to a great team. The fact Illinois is in his top six is huge for the program and they have a few selling points that could seal the deal.
