Davis is a 6-foot-5, 245-pound strong-side defensive end from Viera High School and resides in Melbourne, Florida. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 903 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 46 strong-side defensive end in the nation. He is also the No. 120 player in the state of Florida.
It was so nice to flip Cooper Davis from Missouri to Illinois. I think this kid is going to be sensational with the program. He has the ability to rush the passer, and he is polished enough to see snaps early on in his career.
