I have said it before and I will say it again; without a good offensive line, nothing else matters. Illinois needs to continue focusing on the offensive line. This will enable the quarterback to be able to pass the ball without getting sacked as much. The running backs will be able to run the ball better. So, getting more offensive linemen in the future is a great idea. That is why I like the offer to Andrew Jones.
Jones is a 6-foot-4, 245-pound offensive tackle from Reagan High School in Pfafftown, North Carolina. He isn’t rated or ranked by the recruiting site, but this kid is starting to rack up the scholarship offers.
