On Wednesday morning, Illinois football announced the addition of eight future home games. The contests will be played against Akron, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Bowling Green, UTSA, Charlotte, Wyoming, and Central Michigan; each school will visit Champaign once between 2019-2022.
In addition to these games, the Illini have also agreed to future home-and-home series against South Florida (2017-18), Connecticut (2019-20), Virginia (2021-22), Kansas (2023-24), and Duke (2025-26).
Here's a look at future non-conference schedules after this news. Keep in mind that the Big Ten is moving to a nine-game slate starting in 2016, so the Fighting Illini will be playing only three games in this portion of the season.
