Dre Brown is one of the former Illini players who have their names in the hat. He was a solid running back during his time with Illinois. It would have been an even greater career had he not dealt with multiple injuries to start his career in Champaign.
Brown finished his senior season with 584 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. This equates to a 5.2 yards per carry average, which is pretty good. He also had 10 catches for 82 yards. The development in the receiving game makes him an even more enticing draft prospect.
